A contingent of 8 athletes with 6 escorts and guide runners accompanied by coach Dr. Satyapal Singh participated in the Asian Para Games held from 6-13 October in Jakarta, Indonesia. Of the 7 male and 1 female athletes, Avnil Kumar won the bronze medal in the Men’s 400m T13 categoryand Nidhi Misra won a bronze medal in the Women’s discus throw F11 category.
