The Indian Blind Sports Association in collaboration with the International Blind Sports Federation and International Paralympic Committee, conducted a Sight Classifier Training Program on online mode from 11 - 23 January, 2022.

The Southern Region Coaching Camp for Visually Impaired Female Athletes was held in Hyderabad from 27 January - 2 February 2020. This was next in the series to conducting the Northern Region Coaching Camp in Delhi from 10 – 15 September 2018 15 athletes from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala participated in the camp.

The Indian Blind Sports Association in partnership with the Voice of World organized the first-ever Eastern Region Coaching Camp for Visually Impaired Female Athletes. It was conducted from 21 - 25 March 2022 at the Parnashree Govt. Housing Quarters Ground, Kolkata.

The Indian Blind Sports Association helped with the sight classification of athletes for the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI). The Paralympic Committee of India is the body responsible for selecting athletes to represent India at the Paralympic Games and other international athletic meets and for managing the Indian teams at the events.

The 2022 International Blind Sports Federation- IBSA Blind Football Asia-Oceania Championships were held in Kochi, Kerala from 11-18 November. This was the first time in India that a para-football event had 10 men’s teams and 2 women’s teams.

22nd USHA – IBSA National Athletics Championship for the Blind was organized from 14th December to 16th December 2022 at the Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi. This event was organized by IBSA in collaboration with USHA (Title Sponsor).

Mr. David Absalom, General Secretary of the Indian Blind Sports Association participated in the Purple Fest on 10 January 2023 as one of the panelists in a discussion on sports for persons with disabilities.

The Blind Relief Association hosted a sight classification event for para-swimmers on April 9, 2023. Participants from Maharashtra, Odisha, Kolkata, Gujarat, and Karnataka underwent classification during this event
a blind football match was organized on 24 June 2023 at Jayshree Periwal International School, Jaipur. This special event was co-organized by Scout Me and Indian Blind Football Federation along with partners such as the Rajasthan Football Association, Paralympic Committee India, Jayshree Periwal International School, and Indian Blind Sports Association.

To mark the entry into the World Games 2023, a joint press conference was held by the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI), Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, and Indian Blind Sports Association (IBSA) on 7 August at the Press Club of India.

The 23rd Usha National Athletics Championship for the Blind was held from 13th to 16th December 2024 in Nadiad, Gujarat, marking India’s largest sporting event for visually impaired athletes.
